Mission Trip
It is official: There will be another Intermountain District Young Adult Mission Trip happening this summer.
A team of 14 young adults (of which YOU can be a part!) will head to Jinotega, Nicaragua to work again with the people of Jinotega First Church of the Nazarene in several compassionate ministry projects. The trip will be from Friday, June 24th – Friday, July 1st. The cost is only $500 per person (plus some help with group fundraising efforts). It is a short trip so that you do not miss too much work. It is a cheap trip because young adults don’t have very much money. We want this trip to fit in really well into your young adult life.
But our #1 reason for doing this trip is to help our friends in Jinotega. The trip is not as “fun” as most other mission trips. We won’t take any beach days. We will live and eat and do everything right at the church (do you like cold showers? 
). It is not going to be the most comfortable, clean, and relaxing week of your life. But our friends and this community need some help, and we want to be there for them. Literally WITH THEM and FOR THEM. That is what the trip will be all about.

Wow! What an amazing trip!
The Lord blessed each and every one of our days in Jinotega, Nicaragua. All thirteen young adults who went on the trip had an unforgettable experience. It was an amazing time for the church members of Jinotega First Church of the Nazarene and the community of Jinotega. Everything that we set out to accomplish – starting programs with the jail, the hospital, and those living on the streets with addictions – was achieved through the power and grace of God.
