How do you define a ‘young adult’ or a ‘twentysomethings’ person?
Are they young marrieds? Single? In college? Out of college? Married with kids? Working? Not working? Right out of high school? Over thirty? Under twenty? All of that?
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. And, yes.
Young adults are all of those things. And because we are all of those things – we are not going to separate it anymore. It is time that twentysomethings started hanging out with other twentysomethings – whether they are single, married, not quite twenty, way past twenty, in college, out of college, or never even been in college. Young adults are like a good stew. The more ingredients the better. So we are going to try our best to bring the young adults from the Intermountain District together… and get our stew on.
How will this look? You tell us. We want to do social events, service opportunities, and spiritual experiences that young adults want to do. We want to bring young adults together from Salt Lake City, La Grande, Twin Falls, Meridian, Ontario, Boise, Idaho Falls, and everywhere and anywhere in between. This is a brand new ministry for the Intermountain District, and we are excited to connect with you to see what good things we can do together.
So check out the site. Give us a holler. And hopefully we will see you soon…for some stew!

We have some “young adults” at our church and we meet regularly! We started off giving it a “married” title, then quickly learned that not everyone associated with us was married. Rapidly we’ve grown into a very diverse group – varying in age and range from single, married, divorced, widowed, with kids, without kids, and of ages as low as 19 and up to 45! It’s incredible to see our Faithful Father bring us all together as brothers and sisters in Jesus!
